An install fit for Royalty

June 11th marked the 25th anniversary of Seawork, Europe’s largest on-water commercial marine and workboat exhibition.

The event was opened by HRH The Princess Royal and saw a staggering 7584 visitors from 45 countries. With over 500 exhibitors it is estimated that the event contributed between £9 million - £11 million to the Southampton economy over the three days.

We were trusted by Mercator Media to install a large branded ‘balloon wall’ across the site, as well as a conference room stage design with signage.

As it was the 25th anniversary the client wanted to incorporate silver into the colour palette, so the balloon wall was made up of silver orbs - adding that touch of fun whilst also keeping a corporate feel. We used pinch pleated silver fabric with our BeMatrix system to ensure the wall stood out.

The wall was the backdrop for HRH The Princess Royal to open the show and the client wanted to mirror this look throughout the event, so we utilised 300 various sized orbs and balloon clusters to create this effect, all branded with the Seawork logo to ensure company identity across the whole site. We finished with 6ft light up letters and numbers to the site entrance, marking this landmark year for the Seawork team.

We took four crew members and, because of the BeMatrix, it only took a day for us to install. All in all a great days work.

We think we’ll leave Faye’s glowing review to do the rest of the talking…

I used Transform to help me out with a last minute on site issue I had a couple of years ago and I was amazed how quickly the problem was solved, with minimum intervention from me. When you’re on-site and putting together a large exhibition - this is exactly the service you need!

I reached out to Jabez last year to discuss theming options as we were celebrating our 25th exhibition and needed to make it extra special. The team came to see me straight away and listened to our requirements, the details and profile of the event and of course our budget restraints. Less than a week later I was sent some incredible ideas and samples of items we had discussed and ideas they had since come up with. They were so bespoke to our audience and event that I was really surprised at how quickly they had understood us, and how creative they were able to be at a relatively sensible and corporate trade show.

On-site, the team set up without a hiccup and were always happy to help but able to work on their own and just get the job done. The final product was incredible - the effect that each individual area gave was exactly what I wanted. It looked professional yet fun and had an element of class and luxury. I was completely blown away by it all. I have received nothing but positive comments throughout the event and had to fight off people wanting to take the items home at the end! All the items lasted the full duration of the show - showing the quality of the production and I cannot wait to start thinking what we can do for next year! We got everything we needed within our budget and had fantastic service throughout.

Thanks so much to the team at Transform.

Last week we packed up our tents and headed off to the world famous Glastonbury for our client Vodafone, one of our biggest jobs of the year

  • It took 10 Transform crew members three very long days, and we didn’t even get chance to stay and watch Coldplay!

  • This year we designed and installed the VIP retreat area as well as dressing the Connect + Charge area

  • What goes up must come down. We were back on the Monday before the last of the campers departed

  • We’ve got some BIG projects in the pipeline, so our usual Summer break is on hold. Watch this space...
